How can you optimize the images to make sure the website is loading fast?

optimize the images one by one with the “Save For Web” plugin of Gimp or PS e.t.c.
if you use WordPress or Joomla there are a plugins that sends the images to another site, optimize and return to your site, this may be paid or FREE
and maybe more
