      Joomla allows the use of multiple templates to be used, whereas WordPress will only allow the use of one theme per website. This means that with Joomla you can have pages on your website with a completely different look and feel if you so wish and the added benefit of sharing module positions across multiple templates. (from Google, But exists plugin that allows this to WordPress)
